Great little spot. They expanded the bar recently but still kept the charm they had.
Stopped in with no idea of what to expect. Place was busy so we grabbed a table and I ran to the bar to submit our drink orders, tactically snagging a couple menus at the same time. I forgot to photograph the menu, so i dont remember what we ate, but it was really good. We would totally hang out there if we were local. The only negative, and it wasn't us, but the folks at the table next to us took forever to get served. We felt kind of bad for them, but sitting and waiting on service in a busy bar is not how one plays the game.
A favorite stop of mine. The food menu is surprisingly varied and not really what you would normally consider bar food. bangers and mash, corned beef and cabbage, and home-made chips are some of my go-tos. The price for food and drink are really reasonable considering the neighborhood. Service can lag a little sometimes, but the staff is so nice that it's really hard to be bothered by it. Beer selection is relatively standard, but The Blarney Stone makes up for it with knowledgeable barkeeps and a really decent selection of liquor. The noise can be a bit much sometimes, especially on game days, but during quieter times, it's difficult to find a better bar in downtown.
Came by for a midday drink on vaca. I mainly mainly chose it for it’s limited outdoor seating in front. The bartender was very friendly and the setting was typical of a pub.
Absolutely love this place, bartenders are amazing and so sweet, including Vanessa (not sure if I spelled it right). It's a friendly atmosphere, barely any drama and awesome bouncers who you can make talk too. Anyhow, amazing place! Definitely my go to bar because of the people there and the locals... just amazing
