Live Music – Crazy Horse Band

A concert is a live music performance in front of an audience. The performance may be by a single musician, sometimes then called a recital, or by a musical ensemble, such as an orchestra, choir, or band.

Concerts are held in a wide variety and size of settings, from private houses and small nightclubs, dedicated concert halls, entertainment centres and parks to large multipurpose buildings, and even sports stadiums. Indoor concerts held in the largest venues are sometimes called arena concerts or amphitheatre concerts. Informal names for a concert include show and gig.

Small Jazz Combo

4-1 The nature of a concert varies by musical genre, individual performers, and the venue. Concerts by a small jazz combo or small bluegrass band may have the order of program, mood, and volume—but vary in music and dress. In a similar way, a particular musician and band, or genre of music might attract concert attendees with similar dress and hairstyle, and their behavior. Concerts and pubs involving a greater number of artists, especially those that last for some days, are known as festivals. Unlike other concerts, which typically remain in a single genre of music or work of a particular artist, festivals often cover a broad scope of music and arts. Indoor concerts held in the venues are sometimes called arena concerts or amphitheatre concerts.

Last Concert Tour

Due to their size, festivals are almost exclusively held outdoors. A concert tour is a series of concerts by an artist or group of artists in different cities or locations. Especially in the popular music world, such tours can become large-scale enterprises that last for several months or even years, are seen by hundreds of thousands or millions of people, and bring in millions of dollars in ticket revenues.

Beer was by the glass, no pitchers, but I wasn't particularly surprised by that since it was the holiday of drinking beer and they are a business. Overall I had fun while I was there, the bathrooms were down a long hallway and felt like you were going through a maze, but there was no line even though it was super busy in the bar.

  • review rating 4  I stopped in looking for a new place I have yet to go to. I didn't eat the food but what I had seen looked really good. A bit expensive, but I am sure it is all tasty. I was only there long enough to eat two beers and took off. I will certainly recommend and return . Slainte

  • review rating 4  A favorite stop of mine. The food menu is surprisingly varied and not really what you would normally consider bar food. bangers and mash, corned beef and cabbage, and home-made chips are some of my go-tos. The price for food and drink are really reasonable considering the neighborhood. Service can lag a little sometimes, but the staff is so nice that it's really hard to be bothered by it. Beer selection is relatively standard, but The Blarney Stone makes up for it with knowledgeable barkeeps and a really decent selection of liquor. The noise can be a bit much sometimes, especially on game days, but during quieter times, it's difficult to find a better bar in downtown.

  • review rating 5  I am so happy I found a place right next to Pike's Place without a snobby interior and high prices to match. Servers were awesome, prices are insanely low for this area, the food was very, very solid. Happy hour food specials are 6 or 7 bucks. I love this spot. Look for Ben, he has long hair. He is a fantastic bartender and server.
